Last nite in Los Angeles

We finally got everything together at the last moment and got out of the house. I was hoping everything would proceed in a more military fashion but this final cleanup details took 2 1/2 days. I did not expect that.
So here we are at LAX at the Radisson. My flight is tomorrow in the early afternoon.
Everyone is asking me if I am excited. I am, but, I have been excited for so many weeks and sleeping so badly now it’s more a little on the dreary side. But I’m sure I will perk up.

Transit of Venus Photographs

Woo hoo, I actually got some pictures of the transit of Venus, 6:44PM PST. Yes, better than my cruddy solar eclipse photos.  Interestingly, the internal reflections from all my filters
