On January 21, 2012, Aaron Linsdau became the 2nd only American and 30th person ever to ski solo to the South Pole
from the edge of Antarctica at the Hercules inlet on the Ronne Ice Shelf. He traveled over 670 miles in 80 days,
battling raging storms, blinding whiteouts,
broken equipment and food rations gone bad. This was his first expedition on the continent of Antarctica.
