This group of tourists in the Valley of the Kings stands in front of the reason the tomb of King Tutankhamon was never disturbed in antiquity; it was buried below the entry way to the tomb of King Ramses V/VI, effectively obscuring the tomb until Carter rediscovered it in 1922; in fact, another tomb was just unearthed in February 2006, just a short distance from King Tutankhamon KV 62 photo # afeg_d5017
