Africa is refered to the Dark Continent due to its still undiscovered nature. The land mass is huge, countries are far larger than you suspect and there is still plenty to be discovered. Traveling here is much more challenging than Europe and North America, certainly not a place for your first international experience unless you have nerves of steel. That being said, Moroccans and Egyptians are some of the most friendly and helpful people the world over.
